From the moment we take our first breath our journey begins; we jump into the world as God’s creation. Spirit, mind and body contain the blueprint for all that we are designed to be. Our infancy is wrapped in dependence on others. The season of our youth finds our eyes open wide with amazement and arms spread out with acceptance as we two-step in and out of independence; each experience calibrating our inner compass.

We have begun the beautiful season of Advent; a time of preparing our heart, mind and spirit for the coming of our Savior. It is a perfect time of the year for us as Christians to begin a spiritual journey of reflection on all the preparing that preceded the miracle of Christ’s birth in human form on that cold, winter night.
